Biographies of PSPA Singers 2013 - Guest Artists


Sirikhwan Buathong, (Soprano)

Sirikhwan graduated with a Masters Degree in Music Education from the College of Music, Mahidol University, in the year 2010. She is now a vocal teacher at the British International School in Phuket. Currently she is also studying advance vocal technique and vocal interpretation under the world-renowned Loh Siaw Tuan School from Flanders Opera-studio, Belgium. She obtained her first Degree from Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Education, Field of Music Education majoring in voice in 2004 – Sirikhwan was awarded first class honours “ Gold Medal.” She participated in various Pro Musica Master Classes over the past 10 years in Voice and piano accompaniment.




Salith, (Tenor)

Completed his Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance in 2005 and a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance in 2013 at Mahidol University College of Music.


In 2010, he became a member of the popular Thai band, VIVA a Pop Opera Band. He was chosen to play the role of Geno in the musical “Ghost Opera” He was invited to play Ferrando in the well-loved Cosi Fan Tutte, a comic opera by Mozart, in 2012. In the same year, he had an opportunity to play the role Father in the contemporary musical, A Boy And A Tiger at Impact Arena, directed by Bruce Gaston. Salith is a part-time voice lecturer at Mahidol Un iversity College in Thailand.


Thanis Sonkloe, (Baritone)

Thanis started his singing lessons with Ajran Manit Thuvasethakul in 2003 at the age of 18. In the same year he was admitted to the College of Music, Mahidol Un iversity as a Pre-College student studying voice with Evin Lambert. He continue with his undergraduate studies under Nancy in the same university.


In 2007, he received a Bachelors in Music Performance. Under the tutelage of Colleen Jennings, he graduated with a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance. Thanis participated in many operatic and non-operatic performances. He is currently a voice teacher at Square Branch College of Music, at Mahidol University.
