First Ipoh International Waiter's Race

The First Ipoh International Waiters Race was held last Saturday the 29th of June at Taman D.R Seenivasagam and PSPA was proud to be part of the historic event.

To make the whole event a more meaningful one PSPA sponsored a total of 4 Marching bands from schools in Perak - SMK Perempuan Methodist Ipoh (MGS),SMJK Poi Lam Ipoh, SMJK Ave Maria Convent Ipoh and SMJK Sam Tet Ipoh.

Each schools performed their very best with different arrangement styles of music and dance.

The waiters race itself was a success. Waiters from numerous hotels and well known restaurants from Pgenthingerak and Genting Highlands took part in the event which began at 9.00am and ended at 3pm. Events include, The Waiters Race, Hotel food display, Ice carving demo, Fruit Carving Competition, Mocktail Competition and Table Setting Demo.

PSPA would like to thank all participating schools who took the time and effort to make the event a success, we hope to see a bigger participation at the next Ipoh Waiters International Race.
