Subain Singam, an Indian percussionist is a Malaysian well known for his speed and playing western beats with the Indian Percussions. He is the only Malaysian who is able to play 9 Indian percussions, a very rare feat for any Indian percussionist around Malaysia, India and Sri Lanka.

Subain has performed at more than 5000 various functions in his 25 years being in the musical field. He is attached with Aseana Percussion Unit (APU) – A world renowned Fusion Musical team based in Kuala Lumpur. Subain is also the lead Indian Percussionist for Combo Kumpulan Selendang Perak – the Perak state government’s musical team.
